Dear 25-year-old me,

I love you. I trust you. I know it’s all really scary and you are single, looking for your first real job, and not always happy with your choices. You’re going to do things a little better with time. Little by little is absolutely ok.

First, a few things you would never believe now:

At 30 you will not be married nor really sophisticated, organized, elegant and impeccably dressed nor have everything under control. But you are a woman that people love beyond belief and respect and value. And it’s more important than anything else in the world. Oh, and you are travelling the world on your own for six months!!

You will definitely not be single from now until forever. Certain men in your life will love you so much that it’s you who decides to leave when you feel that things are not working. You are not that girl that everyone hurts! Your confidence will soar!

Even when an evil colleague situation forces you to leave your first job, you will find a second job where people will be fantastic and the environment will help you grow in every way. The bad times will be forgotten so quickly that you will be glad you left when you did, and once again your confidence will soar!

So, do what you have to do. I have nothing to teach you that you won’t learn when you need to. Except two things:

1) Don’t keep plucking your eyebrows yourself. Let a professional handle them once every two weeks. It’s worth the investment.

2) Don’t book crack-of-dawn flights. And if you must, don’t go out the night before until the crack of dawn.

Go get ’em, girl!!!!
